We had a lovely time! The location was spot on, just a stroll away from Elizabeth Quay. The staff were dead friendly and the pool was a perfect way to unwind after a long day. Just wish the housekeeping was a bit sharper, though!

The place is gorgeous, the staff are competent and extremely helpful.
The units were well-kept and brand-new with balcony. The hotel is in an easy and incredibly comfortable location, next to a bus stop. Would stay here again, enjoyed our really good stay here.

The hotel had an ideal location next to Brookfield Place. Enjoyed complimentary WiFi and a nice, separate living area in the room. The breakfast was delicious, the check in was easy. It was real good 3 days, would stay here again...

The homemade yogurt is a lovely breakfast treat! The swimming pool was a lifesaver on hot days, and the location is spot on, just a skip away from fab eateries like Adelphi Grill and Liberty Cafe & Bar.
Honestly, I waffled on potential critiques but found naught-the experience was solid all around!

I thought that the lay-out of the apartment and use of space was excellent. I very mich liked the furnishings and the presentation and cleanliness.
I was not impressed with the Reception staff at all, but found the housekeeper on my floor to be warm, welcoming and informative.

Quiet room (facing the Convention Centre).
The web site was misleading in indicating that there was a separate lounge facility. This was important for us under the circumstances and marred our visit (one of us needed a good night's sleep prior to surgery and the other had to take a sleep-deprived test the next day!!) Hotel and parking access difficult - parking facilities very cramped.

The location is a gold mine-just a hop away from the city center and public transport. The one-bedroom apartments are modern and feature a nice balcony that gives you a breath of fresh air in the morning.
The pool was closed for a staggering four days, a bummer for anyone looking to cool off. The parking costs hit the wallet with a $30 charge per night, yet the spaces are tight. And while I expected some basic kitchen essentials, finding only a few coffee packets and no salt or pepper was a letdown.

Nice, large sized rooms, functional hotel with good facilities in a fairly central location. Swimming pool a bonus.
Internet was shown as $1 per hour on our booking, but was actually around $24 a day, which was too expensive. The room key card system doesn't work all the time - which lead to some frustrating moments - we even had the cards re-issued 4 times (on a 3 day stay) but to no avail.

The proximity to shopping, restaurants and the waterfront
We had booked a few months ago and then rang up last week for an upgrade to a larger room and balcony. We were told of the cost accepted and assumed we had the upgrade. Upon arrival we were told this was not the case and the upgrade had only gone through for one night and not the two of our stay.... This was dissapointing and inconvenient to shift from one room to another...so we did not choose the upgrade for the one night....

A practical review for you
Great location near Elizabeth Quay made it easy to explore the area and enjoy nearby restaurants. My room was spacious and equipped with all essentials, including a microwave and washing machine. The friendly staff enhanced our stay, and the pool was perfect for unwinding. Clean and comfortable, it was an enjoyable experience overall.

Our son had his wedding reception at the convention centre so it was an ideal choice for us to stay at the Medina, in saying this it is a ideal place to stay with the train station near by, the access to the river and a short walk to perth's shopping precinct

Me and my partner loved having a little flat to ourselves in central Perth. It was great having a separate living room and kitchenette and everything was nice and clean. We stayed in a one room apartment and it was better than basic but not quite luxury.
Our balcony looked out onto the Conference centre which we were happy about as it wasn't the main road as with the other side of the building, but not ideal. The location was...interesting. Lots of business blocks and not many restaurants or bars, but it was only about a 10-20 minute stroll to more lively places.
